Hi Ed,
Recently, I had purchased the 1000sq ft roll from you of radiant barrier and insulated my attic and basement after emailing you on how best to accomplish this. The information was GREAT as I received my first utility bill after installation and was amazed to find out it was the LOWEST one we had after staying in this house for over three years!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks, Roger
Hi Ed
Just thought you would like to know what I am doing with your product. I am build a 4000 sq ft home and looking for ways to save money on heating and cooling it. So far the house is wrapped with white house wrap, the front of the house faces the noon day sun , I put the radiant barrier over the house wrap on the exterior of the house and just to see if it made a difference I left it off on one area the difference was amazing. I thought there would be a difference on the inside of the house and there was, the walls were cool to the touch where the barrier was installed . But what really amazed me I went outside and held my hand to the white house wrap it was warm and the barrier was cool to the touch. So while the neighbors are thinking I am nuts and the house is starting to look like something out of Star Wars , I can't wait to see my utility bills.
And of course I thinking I should become a
distributor .
Thanks
Willie

If I was educated enough I share my thoughts
on how you have definitely improved the
ability to survive in Space and time based
on Earth's natural standards.
I have lowered my heating energy efforts as
based on your advertisements which can not
be any better said, thus now only allowing
for more improvement for thought.
Actually you succeeded to lower my whole
home's winter energy bill to the newer
homes being build around here with proper
insulation. These homes out away from the
city and suburbs and in open fields where it
gets real cold are having under a $100
heating bills a month where in the city and
suburbs, we are expected to be paying a
average of $1000 to heat up a whole house
probably smaller than those newer homes.
Advice, this cost factor exists to Chicago
and well established farmers because of the
inability to find how to properly insulate a
building already build. I know this for a
fact because everyone has talked, even if
they rip out their walls, most buildings
don't have room for insulation. (The
Government here might help you with this
type of advertising concern here.)
Tip, if you some how get them to notice and
participate with a more modern solution
that is also more practical because no fiber
dust to breath into the lungs during wind
storms, >> notice, if they start fully
insulating their existing buildings, they
will be lowering the 'wasteful-pollution'
caused by the excessive heating energies
used thus lessening the risk of the rolling
one after another hurricanes in your region
of the world.
For now thanks, I'm only half way finish
fully insulating my home to its new state.

"Here's another...
For this cold and chilly morning in mid Arkansas. At 17 degrees on the front porch, going to a high tonight of only 31, tomorrow expected to drop to 10 with high of only 28, followed by a Sabbath of 20 and a high FINALLY reaching above freezing: 35, I feel confident that Radiant Barrier has again delivered the goods! The bad news here is that all of the states to our north and east, which were colder than we were when the rains on Tuesday hit us, got snow from that storm and the snow storm that passed thru here yesterday is pelting it today. They'll get a white out ...for sure, measured in feet. Heating cost will soar.
Here's the story: I told
you that I was building a Music Room and screened in
deck on the rear of our house. What I didn't tell
you, was that the connection between the enclosed
Music Room and our home office was the rear
window off the office, which has been removed,
along with the rear wall below it. We did all this
back in September, but got busy and never got the
time to finish the room out yet. We had hoped to
finish it in November, but client demands didn't
allow that to happen. This move left us exposed to
the elements since the room addition has not been
finished. It has windows, walls and doors, with
radiant barrier in the walls and the roof has the
bubble radiant barrier in it. The floors have no
insulation in them yet and the basement below it
is still open to the cold air.
So, for all intents and purposes the wall is open to the outside....still. There is nothing to heat the room. This is where the vent less gas heater is slated to go, but it isn't hooked up yet either. The room minus the snow fall and the wind is just as cold as the front porch. So in defense of the onslaught of winter, I took some pink insulation Styrofoam... R- 3 maybe, and sealed off the gap (on the outside of the now door opening) from cold winds and taped the air gaps of same.
Then on the inside I hung a sheet of Radiant Barrier
over the opening, which as you and I know stops the
transfer of heat: hot to cold. The
chair I sit in (as I am typing this) is about 18"
away from this opening, so any coolness that would
be evident would be readily felt. I feel nothing.
The air around me is the same as the air in the rest
of the house; a comfortable 68 degrees."
You
may forward this on to all of those non believers
and doubting Thomas's out there. Thank you
Ron

"The material worked great!
It was easy to
install and the end result in my 24 x 36 garage
which is 14 feet tall, is amazing.

Hi Ed,
Well, we've finished
insulating and dry walling the outer interior
walls on our house. We used R38 fiberglass in
the ceiling, then a layer of the radiant
barrier, then drywall. In the walls we used R19
fiberglass, then the terminal barrier, then
drywall. We are working inside the house, using
one small electric heater for the whole house.
It's 25 degrees outside, and inside we're in tee
shirts, and quite warm (around 65 degrees).
The garage was
finished before we received the radiant barrier,
there is R38 in the ceiling and R19 in the
walls, but no radiant barrier. The garage stays
above freezing (probably 45 degrees) with the
same type of heater, but substantially cooler.
The garage is 1200
sf and the house is 2500 sf each has the same
heater, but the house is about 20 degrees warmer
and the heater is heating twice the space. The
main difference is the terminal barrier. We are
really happy with your product.
Attached are some
pics from our recent trip to Utah, it had snowed
about half inch, the roof is red, and if we were
losing heat through the roof, you'd see snow
melt (patches of red). The snow fell at 1:00
a.m. and stopped by 1:30am and these pics were
taken around 6:30a.m., the heater was on
throughout the night , notice there is no snow
melt.
We also are sending
a pic of thee entry hall ceiling as the thermal
barrier layer was applied.
We also took the
duct-work out of the attic and put the ducting
in soffits inside the conditioned space, which
gave me some nice plant shelves, and will make
our home more energy efficient.
This coming month we
are having the wells drilled for our geothermal
heat pump system which will heat and cool our
home.
After we complete
the house we'll be looking into wind systems
since we have a steady breeze most afternoons.
Perhaps with a windmill, some batteries and an
inverter we can reduce our electricity costs.
Well, thanks for
your thermal barrier, I believe it's already
making our home more comfortable.
Best Wishes,
Diane Ward &

"I started the install of the
"Worlds Greatest Installation" three days ago as you
suggested. Only the first layer is completed in studs next to the roof. The layer on top of the "pink stuff" is not done yet. The first two nights the temperature dropped to 41 and 43 degrees. The heat came on and the temperature up stairs was 71 and down stairs was 67. The day time attic temperature has dropped 8 degrees with just the one layer in place. This weekend the other layer will go over the "pink stuff" to complete the job. I'm SOLD already. The Radiant Barrier works!"

Although
its been very mild the second delivery just
delivered yesterday, so we have seen a huge
difference. Your product has sure been worth
the money. What you advertise is really
TRUE, usually an advertisement only delivers
half what the product says that it's
supposed to do, your product delivers 100%. |
